Binaural beats and isochronal tones involve rhythmic auditory stimulation. In rare cases, rhythmic stimuli may trigger seizures in people with photosensitive epilepsy or related neurological conditions.
If you have epilepsy or a history of seizures, consult your doctor before using brainwave entrainment features.
Prolonged listening at high volumes may damage your hearing. Keep the volume at a comfortable level, especially when using headphones.
Binaural beats require headphones to work. Isochronal tones and all other sounds work with speakers or headphones.
Many sounds in this app are designed to promote drowsiness and relaxation. Do not use DriftOff while driving, operating heavy machinery, or performing tasks that require full alertness.
DriftOff includes honest science notes on every binaural beat, isochronal tone, and solfeggio frequency. We cite published research where it exists and clearly note when evidence is limited or mixed.
We do not make medical claims. Any relaxation benefits may be partly attributable to the calming nature of ambient sounds and the act of resting quietly.
DriftOff Pro is available as a lifetime in-app purchase or subscription.
Payment: Your Apple ID account will be charged at confirmation of purchase.
Auto-Renewal: If applicable, subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Managing & Cancelling: You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store account settings (Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: Refund requests are handled by Apple in accordance with their refund policy.
By purchasing, you also agree to Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement.
All data is stored locally on your device. We are not responsible for data loss due to device failure, app deletion, or other causes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DriftOff and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
These terms shall be governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the developer operates, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be reflected in the app with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
